Who you want to be is something worth exploring and evolving into, one step at a time. This is not just reserved for the elite athletes that Jim has worked with, but something he advocates for everyone. 

From my journal experience, I couldn’t agree with him more. I love being surprised and delighted by my own journal sessions. My insights don’t remain on the page. The more I journal the more I notice myself subtly changing into the person I want to be.

This is the image that came to mind at end of my journal session today.  I started with a slow moving brain fog and ended feeling connected with my inner self, my central point. Feeling grounded, I’m much more aware of the ripples that I’m sending into my day.

There's something empowering about sharing your in There's something empowering about sharing your insights and discoveries from a journalling session. It's a completely different conversation than focusing only on the things that are wrong, challenging or stressful. 

Take your insights and share them with someone you trust. Talk about what you wrote, but more importantly, share the insights you gained and what you're working on or looking forward to doing differently. 

These type of honest and real conversations strengthen any relationship, workplace or community.
